In a significant boost to female entrepreneurship and sustainable business practices, Givvable Pty Ltd has been awarded a $397,600 grant through the Federal Government's Boosting Female Founders Initiative. This funding is part of the initiative's Round 3, which aims to empower female-led startups to scale their operations both domestically and internationally.

Co-founded by the dynamic sister duo, Frances Atkins and Naomi Vowels, Givvable, a startup at the forefront of sustainable business solutions, has developed an innovative artificial intelligence-powered software as a service (SaaS) platform. This platform is designed to help businesses rapidly achieve their sustainability targets by discovering and tracking the sustainability attributes of their suppliers. What sets Givvable's solution apart is its alignment with widely-used reporting frameworks, making it an invaluable tool for companies committed to sustainable practices.

The Boosting Female Founders Initiative, which received 697 expressions of interest applications in its third round, is a testament to the Australian Government's commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs. With a total of $11.6 million in grant funding available for this round, the initiative seeks to address the unique challenges faced by female founders, including barriers to accessing capital and support networks.

Givvable's project is particularly noteworthy for its ambition to leverage existing local distribution partnerships to expand its reach into new domestic and international markets. This strategic approach not only promises to enhance Givvable's market presence but also to contribute significantly to the global effort towards sustainability.

As one of the 34 female-founded businesses awarded funding in this round, Givvable stands as a beacon of innovation and leadership in both the tech and sustainability sectors. The company's success is a reflection of the Independent Assessment Committee's focus on selecting startups with the potential to make a substantial impact on both the economy and the environment.

This funding milestone for Givvable marks an exciting phase of growth and expansion. With the support of the Federal Government's Boosting Female Founders Initiative, Givvable is set to accelerate its mission of helping businesses reach their sustainability targets faster, contributing to a more sustainable future for all.
